Captain Rennie Clark and Will Lear talk to Capt Alex Pennecamp about fishing Charleston, SC and tournament fishing.  Join us as Alex talks about fishing the greater Charleston area from inshore on the flats to sight fishing bull reds off the beach.  We also talk about the upcoming tournament season and fishing the Elite Redfish Series Open in Hopedale, Louisiana in 2018.

It's been a wild couple of weeks here in Southeastern NC.  Big Chopper bluefish have invaded our coastline and inshore waters.  We've also had some good king mackerel action nearshore which has really got spring fishing kicked off with a bang!

We are joined by the winners of the IFA Redfish Tour event that was held in Beaufort, SC on April 8th, 2017, Capt. James Moore and Capt. Bruce Draper.  This was James' and Bruce's very first time fishing a tournament together and they knocked it out of the park on their first go at it.  Stay tuned for continued coverage of upcoming IFA events!

Rennie just got back from Louisiana where he competed against the top redfish anglers in the country on the opening event for the Elite Redfish Series Eastern Division.  This tournament is a single angler format; anglers compete on Friday and Saturday, with the top five going on to fish the shootout on Sunday.  Be sure to check out www.theredfishseries.com for a full recap and more upcoming events.
